Privacy Policy
Stealth Launch, LLC operates Safe Pace. This policy explains what information the app relates to and how it is handled.
Summary
- No Stealth Launch account is required.
- Your profile, goals, food logs, exercise logs, and related diary information are stored on your device in v1.
- We do not operate a Safe Pace cloud sync service that receives that diary in v1.
- There are no ads in the current version.
- Optional Premium purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play only. Entitlement is checked on device. We do not use a third-party subscription analytics SDK.

Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use Safe Pace, the app may store on your device:
- Profile details (for example sex/gender, age, height, weight, optional body fat %, activity level, unit preference)
- Goals (finish weight, finish date, pacing-related plan values)
- Food and exercise entries, steps, daily plan targets
- Goal completion history and similar app settings
- Local flags related to Premium entitlement status after a store purchase or restore
You can erase on-device app data using Settings → Data → Reset all data (this returns you to onboarding). Uninstalling the app typically removes its local storage, subject to how your operating system manages backups.
Android: Safe Pace is configured so the app’s local database is not included in Android Auto Backup.
iOS: Device backups (for example to iCloud) may still include app documents unless you exclude them at the system level; we do not control Apple’s backup settings.
What Stealth Launch does not receive from the app diary (v1)
In the current Safe Pace app version, Stealth Launch does not:
- Require a Stealth Launch login
- Run a Safe Pace server that receives your weight, food, or workout diary
- Show ads in the app
Optional Premium still involves Apple or Google for payment. If we later add analytics, crash reporting, accounts, or sync, we will update this policy and store disclosures before those features ship.
Purchases and subscriptions
Optional Safe Pace Premium subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Card numbers and checkout are handled by Apple or Google, not by Stealth Launch card forms.
The app checks Premium status on your device using the store’s subscription APIs (StoreKit / Play Billing). Stealth Launch does not run a purchase-verification server and does not use a third-party subscription analytics provider. Apple or Google may still process purchase data under their own privacy policies. Stealth Launch does not receive your full payment card number.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings. Restoring purchases is available on the app’s Premium screen.
Website
If you visit stealthlaunch.com, standard web logs (for example IP address, browser type, pages viewed) may be processed by our hosting provider. If we add analytics cookies or marketing pixels later, we will describe them here and provide choices where required.
If you email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address so we can respond.
How we use information
- To provide Safe Pace’s on-device features (planning, tracking, Info content)
- To unlock Premium on device after a store purchase or restore
- To respond to support requests
- To operate and secure our website
- To comply with law or enforce our terms when necessary
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:
- With service providers who help us operate the website (for example hosting), under obligations to protect it
- With Apple or Google as needed for purchases and store compliance
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- As part of a business transfer (merger, acquisition), with notice where appropriate
Your on-device diary is not uploaded to Stealth Launch servers in v1.
Health-related information
Safe Pace processes health-related inputs you provide (weight, nutrition, activity) on your device to estimate energy needs and show educational Info content. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Data retention
- On device: retained until you reset app data, clear app storage, or uninstall (and until any OS backups expire).
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to help you and for legitimate business records.
- Purchase records: retained by Apple/Google per their practices; we retain only what we need for support and accounting if anything is provided to us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a local-first app and a small company website. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Full database encryption at rest (for example SQLCipher) is not enabled in v1.
Children
Safe Pace is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country for this kind of app). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our website. If you believe a child has contacted us by email, contact us and we will delete that correspondence when appropriate.
Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. Because the health diary lives on your device in v1, many diary requests are fulfilled with in-app reset or OS controls. For website or email data we hold, contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
International users
We are based in the United States. If you use the website or contact us from another country, information you send us may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice (for example in the app or on the website).
