One-person studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We ship our own apps and help clients build web and mobile products that work.

Work

What we've shipped

Products and sites we've built and operate — real work only.

Advisory work

Vegpal (2022–2024): Engineering and Strategic Advisor for a vegan dating and friendship app. Led new features (friendship mode, feed), fixed bugs, worked on UX/UI and backend/database, handled user support, wrote onboarding docs, and interviewed and managed new engineers.

This is not a complete portfolio. Many other apps and websites are not listed.

Services

What we build

Software developer with more than a decade of experience. Specializes in web development but also has experience with mobile applications, game development, desktop applications, UX/UI, and automation.

Open to any software development work

We take on consulting, full builds, rescue work, and add-ons across web, mobile, desktop, games, and automation. If it's software, we can build it or help you build it better.

Capacity: We take one project at a time. The backlog can be as large as needed — if you need work done, reach out and we'll schedule you in the queue.

Web development

Landing pages, marketing sites, full web applications, dashboards, content management systems, and progressive web apps. Responsive, fast, maintainable. Static generators, React/Next.js, or custom solutions depending on the project.

Includes: Mobile-responsive design, SEO fundamentals, contact forms, analytics integration, sitemap and Open Graph setup, hosting and deployment guidance.

Mobile applications

iOS and Android apps from design through App Store and Play Store submission. Native builds or shared codebases (React Native, Flutter) depending on performance needs. Store assets, testing, and submission handled.

Post-launch: Handoff documentation included. Ongoing maintenance available under a separate agreement.

Game development, desktop apps, automation

Game engines, desktop applications for Windows/Mac/Linux, and automation tooling. Whether it's a standalone game, a productivity tool, or a script to automate your workflow, we build it.

UX/UI & rescue work

User experience and interface design for new projects or redesigns. Rescue work for broken builds, legacy refactoring, performance optimization, and feature additions to existing codebases.

About

One person, San Juan

Stealth Launch is Megg Gawat, operating as Stealth Launch, LLC from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I ship my own products — AYearAgo.Today, Mental Math Champion, and Safe Pace — and I take client work building websites, web apps, and mobile apps.

I started building software in high school in 2009 with JustMegawatt, a content site that hit 5,000–10,000 visitors a day. From 2014 to 2022, I ran Megawatt Apps and shipped dozens of iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile apps. I worked at GoCanvas (2014–2018) building mobile form tools, ASSYST (2018–2021) doing full-stack ASP.NET, and advised on engineering at Vegpal (2022–2024), a vegan dating and friendship app. Since 2021, I've operated Stealth Launch — shipping my own products and taking client work.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you work with teams or just individuals?
Both. I've worked with solo founders, small teams, and established companies. As long as the scope is clear, we can work together.
Can you maintain an app after launch?
Yes, on a separate maintenance agreement. Most clients handle updates themselves, but I can support ongoing work if needed.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, standard mutual NDAs are fine. Send yours or I can provide one.
What if my project is bigger than the packages?
Email me a description and we'll work up a custom quote. Larger projects often break into phases, which keeps things manageable.
How do payments work?
Typically 50% to start, 50% on delivery. For larger custom projects, we can break it into milestones.
What tech stack do you use?
It depends on the project. For web: HTML/CSS/JS, React, Next.js, or static generators. For mobile: React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android when it makes sense.
